Maine Arborist Association

Our Mission

The Maine Arborist Association was founded in 1937 with the clear intent of preserving and caring for Maine's shade and ornamental trees. To this day, we have continued to provide a voice for arborists in the state, and promote continuing education in order to better ourselves as an industry.

Our organization strives to ensure Maine's trees are well cared for and cherished for many years to come. We promote credentialing, training, and education to keep our states arborists current with regulations, best practices, and safety.
