The course meets the challenges workers face when performing tree removal operations where trees and tree debris are already downed and laying on the ground. Tree workers are often required to cut and remove trees utilizing a chainsaw where limbing and bucking, cutting techniques are applied for clearing brush, cutting trees and tree parts that have toppled, broken or uprooted blocking access to infrastructure. Specialty cutting techniques andequipment will be explained, demonstrated by instructors as well as available or participants to practice skills in a hands-on setting.
