The Annual Maine Climbing Competition returns after a very long hiatus! Come compete and learn new skills from some of the best climbers in Maine! Winner of the Masters Challenge will receive an all expenses paid slot in the New England ISA climbing competition for 2027!

About the event
After a 9 year hiatus, the Maine Climbing Competition returns this year in beautiful Deering Oaks Park, Portland ME on Sun, Sept 13. Events will include Aerial Rescue, Belayed Speed climb, Ascent, Work Climb, and Throw Ball throw ball events, with the highest 3 scorers going on to the Masters Challenge. Winner of this event will be sent to the next NE-ISA climbing comp in the Summer of 2027, with all travel and entry costs covered by the MAA (limited to in state MAA members only). Come meet some of the states top climbers, see new gear and techniques, and have fun competing in one of the best events out there!
We are only allowing 20 competitors due to time and space restrictions, with only 3 being allowed to be out of state climbers.
